This event will have multiple sessions: 10am, 1pm, and 6pm. Sessions are 1.5 hours in total.

Experience Nature Therapy in beautiful surroundings at Creggan Country Park and improve your health and wellbeing. Go for a walk to take in the sights and sounds of nature followed by some guided meditation next to the water. The session finished with forest bathing in the woodland.

The event takes place outdoors and is the perfect way to explore nature on their doorstep in a safe, controlled environment. Ideal for complete beginners to nature therapy or any form of meditation/mindfulness, the facilitator has years of experience getting people started on their journey of improved wellbeing. Participants will be guided around the park and various stopping points for guided meditation and breathing exercises. The event is informal, making it more accessible to people who do not like indoor talks/seminars. The event is unique due to the activity, location and interactive sessions.

The sessions benefits include:

A perfect opportunity to get outdoors in a safe, controlled environment

Participants will meet likeminded people and will provide socialising opportunities

On the nature walk, participants will learn about the history of the site and wildlife that call the park home including 4 bat species, 43 bird species and a variety of other terrestrial and aquatic wildlife

Participants will learn what nature therapy is, how breathing exercises and interacting with nature can reduce stress levels and improve mood.
